Operations Automation Expert

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of our operations team, focusing on automation and process improvement.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Automation Specialist to join our organization. This role will play a vital part in streamlining processes and connecting systems to enable teams to work more efficiently.

  • Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement process improvements.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using n8n to ensure efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
  • Connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
  • Develop and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
  • Eliminate manual work by creating and managing API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools.
  • Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance for reliability and scalability.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with n8n workflow automation is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable, including schemas, formulas, automations, and API integration.
  • Skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting.
  • Bonus: Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).
Professional Background:
  • 2–4+ years of experience in operations automation, systems integration, or process improvement roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business processes into automated workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting workflows and collaborating across teams.
