We are seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Hunter's Hub, Inc. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tactical plans and programs to establish and maintain the bank's third-party information security risk management framework. Your expertise will ensure alignment with the enterprise risk framework and identify potential risks in complex bank processes, application systems, and network security implementation.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in Information Security or related fields. You must be knowledgeable on various compliance and regulatory requirements, including BSP, DPA, PCI-DSS, and have experience in various information and IT security domains and controls related to third-party risks, data security, and risk management. Additionally, you should have strong analytical and risk identification skills to analyze various information security-related risk situations and develop recommendations on the best course of action.
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include preparing tactical plans and/or programs in the conduct of information, third-party, and system security risk assessments, identifying the Bank's critical assets, threats to these assets, vulnerabilities, and reviewing the adequacy of existing security controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. You will also coordinate and assess the security performance of third-party vendors that collect, process, transmit, and store client data, perform threat modelling-based system security risk assessment for all IT systems and other IT assets, as applicable, and analyze and assess the impact of changes in process, technical changes, and systems enhancements and third-party relationships. Furthermore, you will review the adequacy of existing security controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and information processing facilities to mitigate information security risk, formulate, recommend information security policies and procedures on physical, environmental, and personnel security, and articulate security findings and risk remediation strategies through issuance of risk assessment reports. Track and follow-up status of risk mitigation activities, ensure security risk register is maintained and kept updated, and execute and monitor accomplishment of the risk assessment plans and programs. Finally, you will maintain and track library of records and documentation, investigate applicable reported incidents related to information handling and data privacy, keep abreast of and apply information, IT, and third-party security trends and regulatory and compliance changes affecting the security landscape, security best practices, threat landscape, and apply them in daily work.
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
