The Account Director (or equivalent) is responsible for identifying and qualifying new revenue opportunities with existing clients, creating client interest in new deliverables and support with new business proposals. This individual combines high expertise on digital trends and technologies with an intimate understanding of clients' goals and needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop overall account strategy and translate the client's vision and needs into business requirements through proper coordination with project teams on required deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities and new interests that the client may not recognize to help drive revenue and benefit business needs as their digital advisor.
  • Produce proposals and presentations that win additional business. This includes developing and negotiating statements of work, ensuring work is delivered on budget, and managing invoicing according to the contract terms.
  • Be a role model for stewardship between the client and the agency by balancing the account's needs with avoiding unnecessary expenditures and negotiation required costs.
  • Manage team members to help them develop their skills and drive their performance as well as optimizing the company's capabilities to enhance strategic value.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure effective scoping of work and support them in delivering the highest quality work.
  • Anticipate, proactively address and advise management on potential client or revenue issues.
