The role of a coding quality analyst plays a vital part in ensuring the highest level of compliance with quality management plans. This position requires advanced knowledge of professional coding including CPT, ICD-10-CM and HCPCS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality coding review programs.
  • Communicate review findings and recommendations to management.
  • Obtain statistics and information necessary to assess risk for all areas of coding.
  • Ensure adherence to workflows and ethical coding practices.

This role collaborates with internal staff to develop improved capabilities in documentation, coding, and compliance. The successful candidate will possess strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Medical or Allied Medical course or equivalent work experience.
  • AAPC and/or AHIMA certification; CPMA is an advantage.
  • Proficient with E/M and CPT Procedure coding.
  • Minimum six months experience in quality management Medical Coding with exceptional performance demonstrated HIPAA knowledge required.
