Financial Insights Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Financial Insights Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in driving business growth through data-driven decision making, with a focus on retail and e-commerce operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and reporting. They will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as supporting annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across all business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business initiatives, product launches, and investments.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze gross margin, cost of goods sold (COGS), and operating expenses to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance metrics.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across all business functions.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar finance role, ideally within the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail and e-commerce business models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with high proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP and business intelligence/reporting tools (Omni BI or similar preferred).
