Job Overview

Chromedia is seeking a skilled software quality assurance professional to design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test plans.

This role involves reviewing and understanding software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. You will also identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. They will be proficient in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and understand software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on test ability and quality.
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Document and communicate test results, status reports, and defect metrics to the QA Manager and development team.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA testers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
