About Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with deep theoretical knowledge of software testing principles and strong critical thinking skills.

The ideal candidate should be able to independently analyze requirements, ask the right questions, and be part of a dynamic evolving team.

This role requires someone who can develop well-reasoned and business-aware test strategies that consider product risks and customer needs. The candidate should also apply a risk-based approach to testing and prioritize test coverage logically and consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective test strategies and plans.
  • Execute manual and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues using web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling, and testing techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and propose solutions.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
  • Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers, and test case management tools.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and testing in distributed systems.
