Job Title: Microbiology Review Expert

Role Description

Our organization is seeking highly qualified professionals with expertise in clinical microbiology to conduct peer reviews for various journals and publishers.

The selected individual will be responsible for evaluating manuscripts, providing constructive feedback, and recommending publications based on their evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate manuscripts for scientific merit, study design, methodology, literature review, results, and conclusions.
  • Provide detailed feedback highlighting areas of improvement or concern.
  • Recommend publication decisions based on the evaluation.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • At least two publications within the last two years in the field of clinical microbiology.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is an asset.
