Renewable Energy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Solar Designer to join our team. As a Solar Designer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that solar designs meet customer preferences, company policies, and local codes.
Your primary responsibility will be to create 3D models of homes and their surroundings using aerial imagery and web-based software. You will then use these models to generate custom proposals that show customers the expected panel layout and solar production of their system.

- Support both Sales and Install Operations organizations by ensuring solar designs meet customer requirements.
- Create 3D models of homes and their surroundings using aerial imagery and web-based software.
- Generate custom proposals that show customers the expected panel layout and solar production of their system.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with designing and/or constructing solar electric systems preferred
- Working knowledge of residential electrical and roofing standards preferred
- NABCEP certification a plus
