The Role

We are looking for a skilled Category Planning Specialist who will develop and manage strategic financial plans that drive sustainable growth and profitability of assigned categories. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities at once.

  • Reporting and Data Management:
    • Pull data to refresh daily sales reporting used by cross-functional teams.
    • Support weekly sales and financial data validation across multiple systems and data sources.
    • Update weekly and monthly financial reports used by the Merch Planning team and for the Leadership Team.
  • Forecasting and Planning:
    • Enter plans in planning system for new products based on approved product briefs.
    • Forecast sales and profitability in planning system for assigned products, incorporating current market conditions and historical sales performance.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • 2 or more years of proven success in planning, financial analysis, and inventory management.
  • Relentless about attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines.
Job Details:
  • 100% Remote Role.
  • Contractor position – paid through payment platform.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Working hours: Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm EST.
