Senior Application Developer Job Description

Job Overview:

The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software components based on functional and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming paradigms, as well as hands-on experience with frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, Next.js, and NestJS.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software components based on functional and technical requirements
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following established coding standards
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software quality
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full application stack

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in full-stack or backend application development
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with Java or C# is not required
  • Solid understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
  • Strong foundation in OOP and Functional Programming paradigms
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, Next.js, and NestJS
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
