Job Description

Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assemblies, and part models using SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

  • Develop accurate technical drawings from engineering specifications and concepts.
  • Design and create standard parts and assemblies for complete systems.

Ensure compliance with drafting standards, maintain organized drawing files, and adhere to revision control procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Associates degree in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field is required. Proficiency in 2D and 3D solid modeling using SolidWorks, including assemblies, part modeling, and drawing generation is essential.

  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling.
  • Excellent file management and project organization skills are necessary.

Familiarity with GD&T and industry standards such as ASME Y14.5 is a plus.
