Job Title: Financial Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate tax returns, including personal and business tax returns.
  • Conduct thorough research on necessary laws prior to submitting returns to reviewers.
  • Provide timely and complete returns to avoid open items.
  • Develop and implement tax projections and planning tasks for clients, including determining tax liability and salary requirements.
  • Handle correspondence with government agencies, and perform tasks such as preparing payment plans and powers of attorney.
  • Manage external bookkeeping, including adjusting balance sheets and providing internal and external QuickBooks support.
  • Review monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, and prepare W-2s, W-3s, 1099s, and 1096s at year-end.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field.
  • Proficient in tax and accounting software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and CCH Access/ProFX Tax.
  • Licensed as a certified public accountant is highly desirable.
  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft 365 applications and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation.
