Job Title: Automation Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Process Engineer to serve as the backbone of our automation efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on streamlining processes, connecting systems, and enabling teams to work smarter. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cross-platform automations that integrate n8n, Airtable, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Query, and various APIs (JIRA, Basecamp, and others).

This role involves working closely with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business processes into automated workflows.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with n8n workflow automation (must-have), strong proficiency in Airtable (schemas, formulas, automations, API integration), skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments, hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations, and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain cross-platform automations.
  • Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain automated workflows using n8n.
  • Connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).

Requirements:
  • Proven experience with n8n workflow automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable.
  • Skilled in Power Automate and Power Query.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp.
