Job Opportunity: Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our backend development team, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing robust backend systems that support our diverse product offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Backend Systems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and services.
  • API Development and Integration: Work alongside engineers to define architecture and implement APIs for seamless integration with front-end components.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize existing backend services for performance and scalability.
  • Data Security and Integrity: Ensure the security and integrity of data through implementing best practices in database management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead code reviews, provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, and troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on server-side architecture.
  • Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby, extensive experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), and hands-on experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
  • Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with cloud solutions and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Security and Problem-Solving: Strong knowledge of security standards and best practices for web applications and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
