Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, including payroll, reconciliations, invoicing, and budgeting.
This role involves working closely with clients to ensure accurate and timely financial management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage client accounts, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Perform XERO Payroll, including processing timesheets, superannuation, and PAYG compliance.
- Handle bank reconciliation and Balance Sheet reconciliation.
- Process bills using DEXT and Hubdocs.
- Prepare payables and receivables reports.
- Manage sales invoicing.
- Conduct XERO Projects tracking and reporting.
- Complete end-to-end preparation of BAS/IAS.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
- Proficiency in Xero and experience using DEXT or Hubdocs.
- Experience with Xero payroll, reconciliations, invoicing, and BAS/IAS preparation and reporting.
- Strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
