About the Job

ALLIAH is seeking a highly skilled Product Expert Trainee to join our team. As a Product Expert, you will play a crucial role in explaining complex product features to potential customers, utilizing your technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the sales team to understand consumer demands and provide sales support where necessary.

You will also be responsible for supporting customer inquiries, developing design alternatives, prioritizing tasks, and managing workload. Additionally, you will need to propose final buy and competitive pricing to customers, secure orders, guarantee product standards, and ensure timely delivery of products.

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong technical knowledge, particularly in engineering technical drawings and metal fabrication. You should also have excellent communication skills, be able to handle pressure situations professionally, and have good English language skills. Experience in Sales/Marketing in the steel industry is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
  • Support customer inquiries by fielding calls while being a source of information and problem-solving to client satisfaction.
  • Develop design alternatives when necessary and clearly communicate the reasons for the design alternatives.
  • Prioritize and multitask during high volume periods and maintain customer parameters.
  • Continuously communicate with the team to resolve customer needs and proactively manage workload.
  • Propose final buy and competitive pricing to customers.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product timely delivery.
  • Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
  • Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
  • Generate initial cost estimates for client inquiries in a timely manner.

Skill Requirements:

  • No issue with domestic and regional traveling.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Handles pressure situations with a professional demeanor.
  • Board passer; preferably a graduate of Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good technical understanding of engineering technical drawings and metal fabrication.
  • Experience in Sales/Marketing in the steel industry is a big advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with excellent credentials are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to speak Bisaya.
  • More advantage if he/she knows how to drive a 4-wheel vehicle.

Work Details:

  • Work Location: Manila and Davao, but most of the time he/she will be based in Davao.
  • Salary Range: Since he/she is a trainee, we can give at least 16k - Davao Rate, and this will be adjusted after 3 months depending on his/her performance, with further adjustments once he/she is regularized.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday depending on the sales team schedule.
