Job Details

Global Staff Connections Inc. seeks a talented Business Administrator to oversee our financial management and administration. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial records for all locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process income and expenditure data, reconcile bank accounts, and manage direct debits, online payments, cheque payments, and church bank accounts.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Prepare information for auditors annually, compile GST/BAS statements, and submit them to the ATO.
  • Ensure levy payments are processed, manage petty cash payments and reconciliations, as well as church credit card issuing and cancellations.
  • Prepare event costing information for post-event summaries and reports for team directors on team expenditure, as well as reports for pastors regarding allowances.
Reporting and Support:
  • Provide weekly reconciliation reports and cashflow snapshot reports to the Church Board.
  • Compile monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors, including key indicators and monthly snapshots.
  • Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, including meeting minutes and preparing financial reports.
Point of Sale System:
  • Manage Point of Sale System operations and reports.
HR and Finance:
  • Process and maintain staff leave records in paper format and Xero.
  • Prepare adjustments to contracts for remuneration purposes and prepare correspondence relating to staff.
  • Assist with payroll and calculate annual adjustments, advising Finance and Exec Team of any changes.
  • Maintain monthly church stats on the database.
