Job Overview

Patra Corporation is a global leader in insurance back-office and account management business process outsourcing.

The Senior Instructional Designer will assist in creating best-in-class learning programs for learners in various roles, both as they onboard to their roles and for ongoing capability development.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply recognized instructional design models to rapidly design, develop, and publish engaging course content and learning activities for ILT, online, and virtual modalities with continuous evaluation/improvement cycles.
  • Identify effective delivery methods for meeting learning objectives. Adapt instructional materials created for one format to another (usually from face-to-face to eLearning and virtual).
  • Author training material using authoring tools including Articulate 360, Vyond, Canva, and other common tools.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends, best practices, and adult learning methodologies. Ensure experiential learning is leveraged to accelerate development.
  • Develop course content including graphics, scenarios, job aids, simulations, audio scripts, eLearning courses, and live virtual learning experiences.
Requirements:
  • Skilled in all aspects of instructional design, including needs assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning with a demonstrated track record of introducing innovative programs that lead to tangible results.
  • Lead Others by contributing to the development of learning standards, templates, and best practices; creating and testing prototypes, gathering audience feedback, and modifying learning experiences.
  • Self-starter who identifies problems, evaluates options, and initiates solutions.
