As a member of the Manila Global Procurement organization, you will work closely with category teams and business stakeholders to select and source suppliers that meet our needs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the best value for money is achieved through price, quality, timeliness, and other relevant factors.

You will collaborate with category teams and procurement leads to identify opportunities to establish purchase agreements and leverage them to fulfill purchase orders across multiple geographies and business groups. This involves preparing and issuing Requests for Quotes/Proposals/Price, analyzing supplier responses, and recommending the best source of supply to stakeholders.

Your role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes, leveraging best practices and tools in supplier selection, and issuing purchase orders covering price and terms in compliance with local laws. You will also monitor supplier relationships, facilitate problem resolution, and provide feedback to global category teams regarding supplier performance.

In addition, you will identify process improvements to drive efficient and effective procurement operations that support business needs while managing supplier costs and risks. You will interface regularly with assigned category teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of category strategies and preferred suppliers, ensuring alignment between category and PMO objectives/initiatives, and driving results against GP metrics.

Job Qualifications:
  • Graduate of any Bachelor's degree, preferably Accountancy, Finance, Business or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement Operations gained from medium to large scale organizations.
  • Excellent Procurement skills, advanced skills on P2P processes, a basic understanding of procurement matters such as supplier onboarding/vetting, RFI/RFQ/RFP, e-Auctions, negotiations, catalog management, purchase orders, terms and conditions, and contracts.
  • Ability to multi-task, handling quick turnaround, high-value procurements.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with major enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP or Peoplesoft and Oracle Fusion.
