Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

The role of a Financial Operations Specialist involves performing timely and accurate record keeping of general accounting related deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile daily bank statements, weekly bank summaries, and liquidity reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Verify the registration of fixed assets in the system, including capitalizable assets, and perform monthly depreciation runs.
  • Process cash receipts allocations in the Receivable module and prepare month-end journals for prepayments amortization, accruals, cost reallocation, manual reclassification, and OH adjustments.
  • Perform monthly VAT validations and reconciliations, as well as non-critical account reconciliations.
  • Assist in quarterly intercompany reconciliations and financial package preparation in Onestream.
  • Develop process documentation and flowcharts to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support audit requirements during interim and year-end financial audits.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field is required; a CPA certification is an advantage.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial/general accounting and audit is necessary.
  • Experience in ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
