Key Responsibilities

As a Private Sector Lawyer at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's mission to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal advice on nonsovereign financing transactions, including direct equity investments and investment fund transactions.
  • Supporting ADB's third-party fund management, including advising on fund formation and administration for parallel and blended finance.
  • Resolving complex issues and mitigating legal risk for ADB.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
  • Admission as a lawyer in one or more of ADB's member countries.
  • At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience advising on private equity funds or direct equity investment transactions.
