Job Description:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Your expertise in optimizing data storage and retrieval for analytics and reporting will be crucial in driving business growth.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior colleagues while providing opportunities for technical growth and development.

The role requires strong knowledge and proficiency in data modeling tools & design, as well as proven expertise in data engineering tools and technologies. Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies is also essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Optimizing data storage and retrieval for analytics and reporting
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data-related technical issues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Mentoring and guiding junior colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data systems development
  • Proficiency in ETL tools such as AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in data modeling tools & design
  • Proven expertise in data engineering tools and technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies
  • Ability to build data solutions at the enterprise scale
  • A degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related fields
