Research Reviewer

About the Role

The role of a research reviewer is to provide expert feedback on academic manuscripts submitted for publication. This involves evaluating the manuscript's content, methodology, and conclusions, and providing constructive suggestions for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate manuscripts for originality, study design, methodology, literature review, results, and conclusions.
  • Provide detailed feedback highlighting strengths and weaknesses, suggesting improvements or identifying flaws and ethical concerns.

Candidates should possess a strong academic background in their field, with advanced degrees such as a PhD or MD. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent written communication skills, and ability to adhere to deadlines are essential. Previous experience in peer review is highly desirable.

Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (PhD/MD) in the subject area.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in the relevant field.
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.

This position is ideal for individuals who can maintain confidentiality, objectivity, and work independently while managing time effectively. Familiarity with online manuscript submission systems is an advantage.
