Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team.

  • Enter data from source documents into our computer database, files, and forms with precision and accuracy.
  • Verify the accuracy of completed work and correct any errors when necessary.
  • Maintain data integrity and security by adhering to our established policies.
  • Provide customers with excellent product and service information in a timely manner.
  • Conduct thorough research using available resources to gather required information.
  • Create and finalize reports as needed, such as end-of-day reports and other requested documents.
  • Attend to customer calls and meetings as necessary to provide exceptional support.
  • Achieve assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through dedication and hard work.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned by management or the team leader.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-year experience in freight forwarding or logistics is mandatory, or 2-years of solid Data Encoder experience.
  • Licensed broker and import/export shipment data entry experience is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates of BS Customs Administration or shipping/freight forwarding courses are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent attention to detail and keyboard skills of at least 45 WPM are essential.
  • Knowledge of EDI Cargo Wise is beneficial but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and high computer literacy are expected.
  • Must be a team player and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and strong work ethic are necessary for success.
  • Excellent English language communication skills - both verbal and written - are required.
  • Flexibility to take on additional tasks when required.
