Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Cracknell Landscape Design LLC Full time

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Developer to join our team at Cracknell Landscape Design LLC. This role involves developing and improving our CAD production process using AutoCAD, Windows desktop applications, and scripts.

The key focus of this position will be to write code, develop, and refine our software applications in the AutoCAD programming environment with .NET programming interfaces.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To effectively configure, analyze, investigate, and resolve system issues related to our software applications.
  • To review and provide input on study budgets and monitor the scope of work to actual work, alerting management of potential change orders.
  • To participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.
  • To analyze configuration options to design the optimal configuration for ensuring quality.
  • To debug, script, and manipulate data as required.
  • To develop and test new software applications in the AutoCAD programming environment.
  • To ensure program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides are maintained in accordance with standards.
  • To coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met with the latest AutoCAD release every two years.
  • To write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency.
  • To debug and resolve issues with AutoCAD installations.
  • To collaborate with product development team, drafting, engineering, and business analysts to obtain necessary information and ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
  • To check completed programs by running simulations.
  • To communicate and understand technical material from engineers, programmers, designers, and drafters.
  • To possess expertise in C#, Auto Lisp/DCL/Visual Lisp, Dynamo, and Python knowledge is beneficial.
  • To have experience working with recursive programming and refactoring existing codes.
  • To have familiarity with CAD software and datasets.
  • To have a good understanding of Autodesk Construction Cloud and access to file management through the ACC API.
  • To have a good understanding of AutoCAD menu system and security measures to prevent software theft.

Position Requirements:

  • To have proficiency in C# programming language and AutoCAD certification.
  • To possess minimum 5 years of relevant CAD environment work experience.
  • To have experience working in a multi-disciplinary production environment.
  • To have high proficiency in spoken and written English.
