The Insurance Risk Evaluator will be responsible for assessing insurance applications and determining appropriate coverage based on risk evaluation. This is a full-time, day shift position requiring strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate insurance applications, assessing risks, and determining appropriate premiums for various insurance products.
  • Review policyholder information, including medical records, claims history, and financial data.
  • Use underwriting guidelines and software tools to make informed decisions on policy approvals, rejections, or modifications.
  • Communicate with applicants to request additional information or clarification as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions and policy renewals.
  • Provide support to the sales team and other departments regarding underwriting-related inquiries.

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field. Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies, risk assessment, and underwriting principles.
  • Proficiency in using underwriting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to assess risk and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of local and international insurance regulations is a plus.
