At our organization, we are seeking a diligent Real Estate Valuation Expert to collaborate with our esteemed client. This role involves comprehensive financial modeling, meticulous market research, and preparing reports to support informed investment decisions.

Work Schedule: 9am - 6 pm EST (Monday - Friday)

Job Type: Fully-Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments, to provide data-driven insights.
  2. Research real estate databases for comparable data, analyze the data, communicate findings externally, and prepare detailed analysis reports.
  3. Develop financial models to assess property performance and returns, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  4. Stay up-to-date on market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals to inform decision-making.
  5. Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and clients, effectively communicating complex information.
  6. Assist with due diligence, reviewing leases and financial documents to ensure compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar role.
  2. Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real Estate.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; financial modeling expertise preferred.
  4. Strong analytical skills and ability to think independently.
  5. Familiarity with FileMaker Pro and internet searching skills.
  6. Knowledge of real estate terms and metrics (e.g., cap rates, NOI, IRR).
  7. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  8. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
