Job Description

GrowthAssistant is seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join its creative team and support one of its US-based clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing engaging short-form content for multiple platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. This role requires a creative storyteller with a performance-driven mindset who understands how to elevate content for ad effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit original, high-quality video assets across multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Create short-form content for social media platforms.
  • Compile and repurpose user-generated content into engaging ad creatives.
  • Implement creative direction and feedback from teammates and clients.
  • Review completed work to ensure technical accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Collaborate with teams to continuously test and refine creative performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of paid social video editing/design experience in the DTC or e-commerce space.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, such as CapCut and Adobe Suite.
  • Experience creating ad creatives (static, GIFs, and video).
  • Familiarity with task management tools (Asana, Monday, etc.).
  • Excellent English communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly collaborative, positive, and enthusiastic team player.
  • Dedicated computer equipment with a minimum of 64 GB RAM and a dedicated GPU with 8+ GB VRAM for Windows, or M2 chip or beyond for Mac.
