Radiology Expert

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and excellent communication skills.

• Manage incoming exams and facilitate timely report dictation by radiologists.
• Provide administrative support to radiologists, client representatives, and caregivers.
• Appropriately prioritize exams and dispatch them as needed.
• Facilitate referring physician and technologist calls/chats to appropriate radiologists.
• Triage multiple chats and manage communications on individual exams.
• Prepare exams for radiologist interpretation, verifying exam details and clinical information.
• Document all communications and utilize multiple systems to obtain additional information on exams.
• Track and notate procedures, meetings, conferences, and downtimes for radiologists.
• Merge patient accounts as necessary and ensure radiologists have all electronic paperwork needed for each exam.
• Monitor and respond to email consistently and proactively.
• Assist with electronically viewing previous reports and fax/call results to referring physicians as requested.
• Assign peer reviews daily to radiologists and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Attend meetings, take minutes/notes, and report to the team as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Healthcare BPO industry.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality within the company and its customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to consider individual needs in communication with and assessment and treatment of patients of all ages.
• Professional demeanor and good personal hygiene.
