Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented accountant to join our team in preparing internal and external financial reports. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax compliance, particularly in the AU and UK contexts.

The successful candidate will take ownership of monthly management reports, statutory reports, and vendor-facing financial summaries. They will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of AU and UK tax obligations.

Liaising with external stakeholders such as vendors, auditors, and tax authorities is an essential part of this role. The ideal candidate will be able to drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and templates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.

Collaboration with the finance team for month-end and year-end close processes is also key to this role. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple reporting timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and tax compliance, particularly in AU and UK contexts.
  • Hands-on experience using Xero and strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable working with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
