Job Summary:

As a skilled Senior Java Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable Java-based applications. You will lead a team of talented developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement complex Java applications and services adhering to best practices and architectural standards
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Java developers, fostering their growth and ensuring project success in remote environments
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance
  • Closely collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Drive technology adoption and process improvements to enhance development efficiency and product quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring system stability and reliability
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem and broader software development landscape
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of extensive Java development experience with a focus on enterprise-level applications
  • Proven experience as a lead or senior developer with demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Deep expertise in Java 8+ and its core libraries, popular frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, data structures
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
  • Proficiency in database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, ORM frameworks
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools like JUnit, Mockito
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for remote work settings
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
