About the Role

This position plays a critical role in the Finance Centre of Excellence team, focusing on direct ownership & accountability for planning, pacing, reporting, and analysis related to FP&A. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks such as:

  1. Assisting in key month-end activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of management information.
  2. Reviewing financial reports daily, identifying discrepancies, and reporting to finance management.
  3. Preparing accruals, journal entries, and leading the month-end close process.
  4. Creating dashboards, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to functional management.
  5. Maintaining up-to-date reporting decks and management reviews.
  6. Implementing process improvements and changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Providing commentary on performance against budgeted plan and prior year.
  8. Developing monthly and quarterly estimates, as well as performing ad-hoc analysis.
  9. Enhancing forecasting ability through model construction and process improvement.
  10. Collaborating with US stakeholders to create and review quarterly forecasts and annual OP plans.
  11. Providing end-to-end support for Operating Planning exercises.
  12. Partnering with Transformation Teams to develop best practices for managing functions.
Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • PREFERRED: Master's degree, Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of directly related financial and/or accounting experience.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial analysis concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask.
  • Proven leadership skills, with ability to manage projects and assignments.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
