Credentialing Coordinator Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support our credentialing and privileging processes.

  • Comprehensive Credentialing Support: Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process, including managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards. Serve as a key point of contact for providers and external entities (licensing boards, payers, etc.) for credentialing-related inquiries and processes.
  • Privileging and Onboarding Assistance: Assist with the provider privileging process by preparing necessary documentation and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Reporting and Process Contribution: Support the generation of credentialing reports, proactively identify and help resolve credentialing issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.
  • Adaptable Responsibilities: This role may adapt and change to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
About You

You are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively within a team environment and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience, ideally within a healthcare setting or a regulated environment.
  • Collaborative & Independent Contribution: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and contribute to collective success.
  • Administrative Acumen: A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to managing documentation and data.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite and CRM/support software.
