Job Title: Content Creator/ Vlogger with WordPress Experience

Description:

You will be responsible for creating engaging video content for our client's channels. This includes producing and editing quality videos, creating screencasts, and working with customers to obtain video testimonials.

The ideal candidate will have basic experience of working with the WordPress CMS, proven experience of producing and editing quality videos, and experience creating screencasts. They should also be able to create images to illustrate their videos and have familiarity with YouTube trends and conventions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Creating a video content calendar
  2. Producing and editing engaging educational, general, and brand video content
  3. Working with customers to obtain video testimonials
  4. Creating supporting images to illustrate videos, such as opening and closing slides
  5. Optional - Producing other types of video such as video tutorials and animated gifs showcasing our plugins
  6. Optional - SEO keyword research and analytics to identify ideas for new videos
  7. Optional - Analyzing the impact of existing videos and looking for new opportunities

You'll need:

  • Perfect spoken English with a clear accent
  • Good on-camera and narration skills
  • Engaging, enthusiastic personality that will capture the viewer's interest and make them excited about our products
  • Ability to describe technical software in a clear and accessible way
  • Ability to present in a relaxed but professional tone
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Relaxed and confident in front of the camera

Nice to Have:

  • Advanced-level WordPress experience
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing video strategy
  • Proven experience of creating videos about WordPress plugins and themes
  • Experience of using analytics and other tools to evaluate the impact of videos and identify new opportunities
  • Ability to create more advanced graphics and animated gifs
  • Experience of managing and evaluating YouTube ads
  • Networking skills, with the ability to perform effective outreach and link building work
