About the Role
The primary function of Sales Support is to provide documentation assistance to the Sales team in sending information to the Operations team. This includes checking quotes, producing Go-Ahead documentation, and managing itinerary changes. Additionally, contact with customers for briefing information and follow-up is required. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the jobholder would follow pre-defined standard operating procedures (SOP).
Key Responsibilities
- Quote responsibilities: verify, amend, and re-check quotes as requested, which includes printing out quote sheets and attaching them where appropriate.
- Offers responsibility: preparing offers and sending them to clients, and managing itinerary changes on behalf of Sales (where needed).
- Go-Ahead responsibilities: preparing Go-Ahead documentation for the Operations team, attaching the offer letter, final itinerary, original quotes, and other documents on behalf of Sales (where needed).
- Provide administrative and documentation support to the Sales team in relation to market situation, destination/competitor analysis, agent profiling, existing account management, reports, etc.
- Other support duties as assigned by the manager.
To Succeed In The Role, You Should Have:
- Service-oriented with a very positive working attitude.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Attentive to details and sensitive to figures.
- Organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Highly motivated and a good team player.
- Knowledge of European destinations is an advantage.
- 1-2 years of working experience in a sales function in the travel industry is an advantage.
