Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Manager to oversee the development of accounting policies and procedures, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and ensure full-cycle month-end closes for multiple clients across various industries in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:- Vendor Management and AP: Review invoices, provide guidance to staff, pay invoices after client approval, and oversee 1099 checks.
- AR and Cash Management: Oversee AR cycle, review weekly cash flow forecasts, communicate changes, monitor cash flow, and make recommendations to clients.
- Daily Bookkeeping: Manage weekly transaction cycles, maintain organization of data room.
- People: Facilitate transitioning support staff on clients, review and approve payroll processing, and ensure compliance with clients' payroll schedules.
- Month End Close: Review bank and credit card reconciliations, run lead on month end close procedures, review monthly balance sheet schedules, and investigate variances.
- Compliance: Review compliance filings, assist accountants with tax returns and audits, and manage year-end 1099 filings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, and/or Finance required.
- 5+ years of relevant U.S. work experience.
- CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
- Experience in Quickbooks Online, Netsuite, or similar system required.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
