Lead Accounting Professional

We are seeking an accomplished accounting leader to spearhead our accounts payable function. This individual will oversee the processing of purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments, ensure timely reconciliation of AP and credit card transactions, and maintain compliance with established accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in accordance with financial policies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and credit card accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
  • Support month-end close by preparing accruals, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Assist in audits by providing required schedules, reports, and supporting documents.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with ERP systems, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have knowledge of GAAP, financial close processes, and variance analysis.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in US accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, reconciliations).
  • Knowledge of GAAP, financial close processes, and variance analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this role.
