Backend Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend services using Python.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new features and enhancements from specification to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop clean web service APIs to support both CLI and web frontend clients.
  • Review code and technical designs produced by other engineers.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebase to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated professional proficiency in developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python.
  • Familiarity with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
  • Strong academic background in Computer Science or related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for technology, with desire to continuously learn and grow.
