About the Role

As a seasoned software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting robust backend systems to support diverse product offerings. You will collaborate with an exceptional team of developers and engineers to create scalable and efficient backend services that enhance user experiences across applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend applications and services. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to define architecture and implement APIs for seamless integration with front-end components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance backend applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and implement APIs.
  • Optimize existing backend services for performance and scalability.
  • Evaluate and ensure the security and integrity of data through best practices in database management.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations to improve our tech stack.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in backend development with focus on server-side architecture.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Extensive experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
