Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experts and contribute to the success of our clients in the financial markets.

You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising cloud and hybrid environments that support financial trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Operations
    • Provide L1/L2 support for cloud and on-prem systems, including Azure VMs, storage, and networking.
    • Maintain system health, perform patching, backups, and configuration reviews.
    • Troubleshoot escalated issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Network Administration
    • Administer Azure and Microsoft 365, including compute, IAM, and monitoring.
    • Enforce cloud governance, tagging, and cost optimisation.
    • Support automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Security and Compliance
    • Monitor and respond to alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
    • Enforce access controls, MFA, DLP, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
  • Backup and Recovery
    • Execute DR testing and maintain business continuity documentation.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Proven experience in financial services or trading environments.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware, and HCI.
    • Familiarity with Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu) and shell scripting.
  • Leadership Qualities
    • Proactive, responsive, and client focused.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues for business stakeholders.
    • Team-oriented with regional collaboration experience.
