Learning Experience Specialist

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a talented Learning Experience Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging and effective learning activities and compelling course content in cooperation with subject matter experts from the FME business, regionally and potentially globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to create innovative and interactive learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations, ensuring that training meets the needs of our diverse workforce.
  • Identify the most appropriate and effective delivery mechanisms (e-learning, virtual classroom, face-to-face etc.) to reach learners across various locations and time zones.
  • Create instructional end goals and develop content that matches them, resulting in measurable learning outcomes.
  • Design engaging e-learning and video content using scripts and/or storyboards, develop media assets using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and develop eLearning using Storyline, enhancing the overall learning experience.
  • Provide learner interactivity (exercises, activities etc.) that enhance the learning process and learner experience, making training more engaging and fun.
  • Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course and attainment of knowledge and other specified learner outcomes.
  • Identify poor quality and/or outdated learning content and offer recommendations for improvement or replacement, maintaining the highest standards of training excellence.
  • Maintain project documentation, version control and course folders, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar relevant field; Certification in Instructional Design (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts, capturing the essence of complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Instructional design and media development abilities and instincts that show potential for growth, enabling you to adapt to changing learning needs and technologies.
  • Ability to follow specific directions and curate key instructional points from a variety of available source materials and conversations with subject matter experts, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to organize ideas into a logical sequence that teaches as it tells a story, creating an immersive and engaging learning experience for our audience.
  • Ability to write clear, concise scripts using compelling and engaging language, conveying the desired message and tone.
  • Working knowledge or awareness of eLearning and media production (images, audio, video) applications, such as Storyline, Photoshop, Audition, and Premiere, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
