About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Distribution Design Engineer to join our Energy group. This role focuses on delivering high-quality projects for clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of distribution systems, both overhead and underground.
  • Manage technical scope, prepare drawings, specifications, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage design stakeholders to achieve best-for-project outcomes. Lead technical delivery teams.
  • Work in close collaboration with colleagues across service lines.
  • Plan, lead and coordinate resources to meet project technical and commercial outcomes and client expectations.
  • Communicate with clients about current work and future needs, provide timely updates on project progress.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years in power distribution engineering design.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Poles n Wires, LV Design Analysis.
  • Experience in a consulting or utility environment, especially with proposal preparation and mentoring juniors.
