We are seeking a seasoned Architect to support our Global Technical Support Center in providing design plans for various projects. As an Architect, you will be responsible for performing design work for new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and adapting traditional methods and approaches in developing design calculations, layouts, drawings, and specifications that support project objectives and standards
  • Responsible for selected construction inspections, quality control, and submittal reviews beyond the expertise of construction managers
  • Developing cost estimates and time schedules, reviewing and analyzing preliminary and final designs, plans, and specifications for technical efficiency and adequacy
  • Preparing necessary correspondence, technical reports, contract documents, fact sheets, and status reports and preparing final construction drawings suitable for obtaining qualified bids from Contractors
  • Performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
  • Inspecting installations and observing operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
  • Using computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you should have a graduate degree in Architecture and be registered as an Architect. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in design and field work is required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability are essential.
