Job Overview

As a seasoned cybersecurity professional, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our users and protecting their digital assets.

Our cutting-edge security platform relies on advanced technologies such as AI/ML to detect and respond to emerging threats. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness of our security posture through in-depth analysis and insightful recommendations.

Your responsibilities will include conducting complex investigations, analyzing behavioral patterns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve our security capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Threat Detection and Response: Monitor and analyze events from various sources to identify potential threats and respond with urgency.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with globally distributed teams to achieve tasks and enhance overall team performance.
  • Security Metrics and Compliance: Assist in collecting metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations functions and ensure that our systems meet industry standards.
  • Security Policy Development: Assist in implementing security policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Process Optimization: Fine-tune processes and update standard operating procedures for the team to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Incident Investigations: Participate in incident investigations and threat hunting engagements at various stages.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You must have:

  • Experience: In web and API security, coding standards, WAFs, advanced persistent threat actors, botnets (off-the-shelf and custom), and attack mitigation.
  • Hands-on SQL proficiency is essential.
  • Familiarity with: Threat Hunting - Web/API, web hacking, web data analysis, or WAF hands-on experience.
  • In-depth knowledge: Of web technology and web application security.
  • Deep understanding: Of the cybersecurity threat landscape and the attacker mindset.
  • Scripting and programming skills: In languages like JavaScript, Python, etc.
  • Interest: In keeping up with industry trends and market demands to recommend product enhancements and new sources of intelligence.
  • Data-driven approach: Demonstrated interest in working with data and metrics as applied to security.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills: Along with a curiosity-driven approach to innovating.
