Supply Chain Specialist - Material Management

The Supply Planning and Master Data Specialist will be responsible for overseeing both supply and inventory planning as well as material master data management within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Supply and Inventory Planning:

  • Create and maintain timely supply plans based on demand forecasts and supply parameters, coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply quality and reliability, including monitoring inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking while meeting production and customer demand.
  • Analyze reports on inventory levels, sales, and stock status to identify inefficiencies in the supply and inventory process and implement cost-saving opportunities.

Material Master Data Management:

  • Serve as the supply chain point of contact for creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data in ERP systems, ensuring data meets regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement data governance initiatives, including data cleansing, standardization, and audit readiness.
Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, and material master data roles from pharma and/or medical device companies. Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications and SAP is also required.

Additional Requirements

Able to work under minimal supervision, possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
