Logistics Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Transmodal International, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and assigning trucking instructions to our drivers, ensuring seamless pick-up and delivery services to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Transport Supervisor to prioritize daily tasks and optimize truck movement.
• Monitor fuel consumption and maintenance schedules to minimize operational expenses.
• Establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient department operations.
• Manage service requests from internal customers and address concerns promptly.
• Implement cost control measures by planning schedules and monitoring expenses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics operations or a related field.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary and Benefits:

Our Logistics Operations Specialist role comes with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
