Operations Management Director

As the Operations Management Director, you will oversee the development and implementation of operational strategies to drive business growth and efficiency at Bank of the Philippine Islands.

This senior leadership role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in operational management, project management, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new business processes and systems
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Business units to facilitate business requirements solicitation and gather input from stakeholders
  • Support the Enterprise Vendor Management team (EVM) in vendor selection and contract negotiation
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks jointly with the project team
  • Monitor and report operational performance to senior management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in operational management governance
  • Provide guidance and support to operational management staff and project team members as needed
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in any field, with a focus on business administration, operational management, or a related field
  • 10-15 years relevant experience in operational management, preferably in the banking industry
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and efficiency through strategic operational planning
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
  • Advanced understanding of operational management concepts, including process improvement, change management, and risk management
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
