Senior Security Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing client security systems, responding to security incidents, and providing analysis on evolving security threats.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in security analysis and management.

  • Monitor and maintain client security systems including endpoint protection, email security, network security, identity threat protection, and dark web protection.
  • Respond to security alerts and perform remediation actions to mitigate or eliminate security threats.
  • Analyze vulnerability scans and reports to provide remediation plans to clients.
  • Research new security trends and stay current on security best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement security policies and procedures that meet their specific security needs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Cloud Security, Email Security Solutions, Network Security devices and platforms, Vulnerability Management, Compliance, Incident Management, and Reporting.
  • Exceptional documentation skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other related certifications are preferred.
