Web Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to play a pivotal role in developing our core platform. You will be responsible for building and deploying user-facing features, from our content-rich directories and articles to our integrated e-commerce and payment systems.

This is a hands-on role where you'll have a significant impact on our product's direction and success. We need a problem-solver who is comfortable working across the entire stack and is excited by the challenge of building a sophisticated, scalable web application from the ground up.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the React ecosystem.
  • Build and manage server-side logic and APIs to support our front-end features.
  • Develop and maintain e-commerce features, including vendor subscriptions, product listings, and checkout flows.
  • Integrate and manage a headless CMS to empower our content team to create engaging articles, guides, and vendor profiles.
  • Integrate third-party services, including payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal, and analytics tools.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and collaborate with our founding team to define product features and technical roadmaps.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with strong proficiency in React.
  • Direct experience building or maintaining e-commerce functionalities, including shopping carts, checkout processes, and subscription models.
  • Experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Strapi, Sanity) or traditional CMSs (like WordPress) in a decoupled architecture.
  • Hands-on experience implementing payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal, or similar).
  • Demonstrable experience with a modern back-end framework (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, etc.) and working with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Vercel, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for debugging and problem-solving.
